Pumpkin Inferno, Upper Canada Village, September 30th-October 30th

Award-winning Pumpkinferno is returning this fall for its 11th season, where Upper Canada Village is reviving some of its most popular exhibits plus showcasing 7 brand new themes – the most in any show since its inaugural year!
Take a tour through this spectacular outdoor art exhibit of over 7,000 hand-carved pumpkins all lit at night along a kilometre long path in a picturesque 19th-century backdrop. Open nightly from late September through October, you won’t want to miss this chance to walk in a world of pumpkins.

The outdoor tour that started it all! We share some of our most chilling ghost stories from the area and lead you by lantern light to some of the spookiest haunted spots, including the Bytown Museum, the Fairmont Château Laurier, and Ottawa’s haunted high school. You’ll never look at the city and these buildings the same again! A tried and true favourite for all ages.

Savour the Senses, October 22nd

Engage your senses at this lager than life event! Test your beer IQ and experience a sampling of the Ottawa area’s finest beers – without your eyes! Lagers, ales, pilsners, and IPAs… We’ll be hopping right into beer specifics in this blindfolded tasting experience. Then savour a gourmet dinner, followed by a unique dessert and cider pairing. Tastings will be led by local beer and cider makers. Event guests can also take part in live and silent auctions to round out this fun evening. The silent auction will open online 2 weeks prior to the event for guests and others.

Halloween Adventure Along the Rideau River, September 24th – October 29th

Gather your team and compete in an outdoor adventure drive to banish a ghost. It’s an escape room, scavenger hunt, geocaching and amazing race all wrapped up in one great game. A fresh concept, with new places to discover. Drive to three spooky places and practice your ghost wrangling skills at each stop with fun photo and video missions. Then return to Moodie Cemetery and use your Spectre Collector capture a malicious ghost. A true spine tingling story built in. It’s a great stress buster for ghost busters!

Acres of Terror, September 30 – October 30th

A terrifying Halloween attraction with four main parts: The Spooky Wagon Ride, House of Terror, Fog Maze and Spooky Village. Healthy and safety protocols are in place to ensure a safe visit. Saturday and Sunday during the day are dedicated to families, younger children and those easily scared.

Bushels of Fun Down on the Farm, September 3rd – October 30th

Navigate through the corn maze, jump on a wagon ride and feed some friendly animals during your reserved time slot at the 150-year-old Log farm.
